Couldn’t find a guide or much help on BeCTI so after some trial and error worked some things out, as follows that might help save others having to waste time working them out; Will update these as I discover more tricks and tips…

Rev’s BeCTI Tips (1):
COMMANDER;
To take the commander role (when it is vacant), goto the HQ vehicle hit your ~ (tiddle) key just left of no 1 key on your keyboard. Then move your mouse over to the commander icon (looks like a medal), take the job. Then at the HQ vehicle you can build defence base objects, towers etc…
You can also build infantry/light veh/heavy veh and air factory buildings by pressing your ~ key and selecting the build factory icon. Then players can approach these buildings to build/request different AI units, vehicles and gear. In the vehicle buy screen you can select weather you want a driver/gunner/commander AI in the new vehicle etc…
Beware spending too much money, not 100% on the funds but they might be team funds you are spending?!
Commander can unlock and move the HQ vehicle which is recommended to find a better base location, note the HQ vehicle is a spawn location for players, so keep it out of battle and protect it at all costs!
PLAYER;
To purchase AI units, vehicles and gear, approach a factory (they are common ArmA buildings, built by a Commander), there are also ammo buildings, crates etc…
To assign tasks to your AI, hold shift then press the ~ key (default setup?), (holding ~ alone brings up the BeCTI icons).
Your AI will follow you about unless you give them specific move tasks etc… you can also do this with the map screen up.
Note appears AI will not capture a flag, this looks like it needs to be done by a real player.
It also appears you can not switch sides until and maybe server is reset? so pick your side wisely.

Locked my run key while on my way down the coast to berezino, went to sleep at some point, woke up to the black screen and those 3 dreaded words, i lov… oops i mean, you are Dead.

Also truck crush, it fell over so i hopped out, it rolled back on to the wheels…and onto me, yay, start over.

Hyperthermia… overheating in complete ghillie suit, got sick, too late to cool down, faded to unconsciousness, didnt wake up.

Looking over the edge of a fire station, couldnt quite aim with my pistol, moved a little more, still just out of aim, moved some more, still just out if aim, moved a lit.. omfg i fell, not just 1 zombie, but small group, legs broken, getting eaten, joined zombie group…

Prison island, tower, dont sprint… nuff said.

my truck ran me over, no one driving. I hopped out, left it running, ran around the front. Truck moved, bam.Ran myself over.
