Welcome to NUG TV
NUG TV is hosted by the NUG Staff and was created for our members, one of the most common comments we get is how our members love sitting in channel with us listening to our randomness, hearing our thoughts and opinions on anything and everything we come across, learning from us and our experiences, but most of all how they feel comfortable to jump in and ask us for our help or advice. This got us thinking and we decided to create NUG TV, its a bit of fun, and a way for us to be ourselves and at the same time connect with our members.

Here at NUG we love to have a good laugh, and to have as much fun as possible.
So we have put together a heap of different games and competitions that we will be doing regularly throughout NUG TV, some maybe weekly and some maybe monthly, either way make sure you tune in to find out what games and competitions are currently active.

Game - #Topic
Each week we will give out a new topic for the #Game during the NUG TV Episode, the following week each of the NUG TV hosts will pick and read their favorite # that had been submitted, before releasing the next # topic for the week.
– You can submit your entry via twitter or by filling out the form below.
– Your Submission must be entered within the week of the topic being given and before the next episode of NUG TV.
– Your submission must not contain anything inappropriate, offensive or illegal!

This game is a lot of fun and is based on ‘Cards Against Humanity’ which happens to be one of the NUG Staffs favorite game to play after our staff meetings. Basically the NUG TV hosts will give out a sentence that is not complete, it is up to you to complete it!

– Your Submission must be entered within the week of the incomplete sentence being given, and before the next episode of NUG TV.
– Your submission must not contain anything inappropriate, offensive or illegal!
– You are NOT allowed to change the sentance, your entry must fit the sentence given!

Competition - In-Game Skits
In-Game Skits are one of our all time favorite random things to do, this is because it requires you to use your imagination. Basically we will give you a topic and a time frame, then its up to you to impress us. The skit may require just yourself, or it may require you to team up. The topic may be related to a theme or something particular.

– Your Submission must be entered and received within the time frame given,
– Your submission must not contain anything inappropriate, offensive or illegal!
– You are NOT allowed to change the topic, your entry must fit with the topic given!

Screenshot competitions are another one of our favorites pretty much for the same reasons as In-Game Skits. Basically we will give you a topic and a time frame, then its up to you to impress us. NUG Classroom
The NUG Staff frequently does episodes that covers a variety of different lessons from
– Gamer Culture, where games are today, how they started, and were we see these games are heading.
– In game tutorials, Helpful hints and Tricks
– Discuss the different game/play styles that are around.
– Educate gamers on the different gamer terms
– Q&A, from our viewers
– Discuss different Game and Character lore.

Collectors Edition
With so many different games out there that involve collections and/or achievements, the NUG Staff knows just how hard some of these are to get or work out so we figured we would take the time to
– Explain some of the different collections/achievements,
– Talk about what makes them special/unique,
– Explain how/if there are special ways to collect them etc.

NUG Life Support
One of the big things we believe in here at NUG is that real life must always come first! It is for this reason that we decided that we will make sure to regularly cover topics such as:
– Quick and easy healthy snacks/meals you can make,
– Discuss the importants of getting up to get up and stretching your legs regularly, and getting some sunlight in your life,
– Discuss the importants of going to school/uni/work and getting your homework/jobs done first before gaming,
– Talk about and offer advice to gamers who get bullied or who are having a hard time.
