    Gameplay/Performance

What do you think about the gameplay/performance of this game?: Rust has ALOT of potential While it is rather well optimised for higher-mid end PC’s, however still I find it lacking in the way it handles its terrain rendering feels like it could be alot more efficient aswell as the way it handles broken object fragments such as building pieces that will fly off when a structure is destroyed. As is to be expected hoever this game does undergo rather regular updates and patches being released within small windows of time this being a massive plus the the game aswell as its performance impact on PC’s

    Content/Specs

What do you think about the games content/specs?: Frankly for my taste Rust is a little bland, as much as it is fun really its another “hit a tree get wood make an axe and a pick mine everything in a 20km radius stab other players in the face with said axe until said point you aquire a gun and explosives and start tearing down peoples houses like some sort of deranged psycotic home invader who stole a bunch of C4 and guns simulator.” However in saying all that there is a certain spark a ray of hope I have when I play and after ive been the most successful psycotic home invader this side of the island I think that my small little shack filled to the brim with explosives, guns and mines than I know what to do with I start to feel that I am safe in said shack that I will not succumb to other slightly more psycotic home invaders and I can build a picket fence and see my life lived every so peacfully behind said fence however I am always wrong because sometimes bands of these psychotic home invaders band together and form a clan, While it must be said that there is strength in numbers I often find it more to be the case in a few clans that have graced the shores of rusts ever changing isle they have less years between them than Microsoft has in Being a business which is not rather shocking as I would have expected our younger generation to jump at the chance to make things explode and shoot guns.

    Originality/Difference

Does this game have its own originality/difference compared to others of its genre?: While I have already touched on this ever so briefly in the section above i would like to state a rather obvious and annoying trend that seems to arising since the ever popular release of the fabled minecraft and ever since there seem to be a flood of half developed games in which there simply happens to be a section that requires you to go back to your more base instincs and beat the crap out of a tree in order to take its wood leaving it emotionally scarred for the rest of its live while you consider yourself to be a bully for stealing the wood from that tree with your bare fists. the staple of crafting an axe and a pickaxe in order to progress further like a cave man finding out how to create fire you need to create tools in which you lift your self above the common rabble and become as a god to newly created cave men who already are stealing wood from poor young trees. See in this sense these games are all the same, Some explainable event takes human kind and destroys everything we know leaving us as simple cave men asking us to survive, all I can say is atleast Ubisoft took the realistic route and made us travel back in time to give us our prehistoric cave man adventure.

    Improvements/Flaws

Is there any improvements you would like to see made with the game, or that you think could improve the game?: Personally I believe rust as a game has alot of potential however the developers I feel could listen to their community a little bit more. Perhaps look at popular mods and implement them into the base game, Or even just something to do at the end game rather than killing everything I see.

Is there any flaws with the game that you feel need to be fixed or changed? and how?: There are most certainly flaws, The developers of the game could quite easily find them if they took them time to talk to their community. I understand they may already know or not have the time to fix them but even talking to the community to let us know would be great.

    Value

What you think about the value of this game?: At current the content of the game is fully worth the value you pay for it! however still improvements need to be made.

    Overall

What is your overall opinion about this game?: At first I thought Rust was another 3D minecraft clone with a few tid bits tthrown into the mix to make it a little interesting but its a hard game to fully master. there is alot of depth with the building mechanics aswell as the PVP aspects of the game while as ive said improvements need to be made Rust is a fantastic game! I highly recommend Rust to anyone looking to have many hours of multiplayer craft/home invasion fun!
